Our team worked closely with Bienefelt Architects and their client to ensure the lighting design and fitting selection worked harmoniously with their fabulous design for this new residence in Torquay. We have to agree that the results are pretty spectacular!
SWAP and ORBITAL MINI downlights were used throughout the open areas in black working beautifully against the timber ceilings. SCOPE black and gold pendants provide appropriate light to the work surface but are a feature over the island bench.
HOLLY pendants are a minimalistic light source suspended over either side of the master bed. SPIN pendants were used in other bedrooms to create a different but similar effect beside the bed. ILO linear wall lights in black sit discreetly over the ensuite vanity ensuring great lighting for the mirrors.
LIP wall up lights are used in the family room to provide indirect and soft non-glare lighting for those quiet TV watching times
This home is full of wonderful art and SWAP, POINTER, HIDDEN downlights and spotlights were all used to highlight artworks on various walls. MIX and MIX MINI downlights are used in WIR, laundry, gym, storerooms and garage areas.
External lighting was not forgotten, and the homes architecture and gardens are highlighted through careful placement of light fittings. Weatherproof LED STRIP provides a soft welcoming glow to the front and back outdoor steps. TAURUS inground fittings uplight the trees in the front garden, while asymmetric INGROUND uplighters highlight the outdoor fireplace. Spike spots light up the garden beds around the pool.
