Cesta Table lamp, Miguel Milá 1962

While wandering the streets of 1960s Barcelona, designer Miguel Milá stumbled upon an abandoned opal globe near a glass factory. Bringing it back to his home, this seemingly forgotten treasure gradually became the centerpiece of his expanding family. Aptly named “Cesta” (Spanish for “basket”), it was crafted to cradle the delicate shade with care.
